Recycling site Hoh-Gricht
Sand, humus, unbound mixtures & recycled construction materials
Volken Group produces various unbound mixtures in the hamlet of Hohgricht in Mörel. The site also acts as a collection point for humus and construction materials that can be recycled.
Mobile & flexible treatment
Here the company treats high-quality recycled construction materials, unbound mixtures and crushed stone in a mobile way. Humus from construction sites is also treated. It is deposited and taken away again if needed. 2 employees can take care of all the materials. Strictly speaking, this is a relatively simple principle, but implementing it is challenging and requires a great deal of experience.
Also open to recycled materials
If you book in advance, we will also accept mineral construction waste from private customers and businesses at our Hoh-Gricht recycling site. We specialise in excavated materials, concrete and mixed demolition waste.
Excavation and demolition produce valuable materials
On principle, only supplied excavated materials from our construction sites are treated and temporarily stored at our Hoh-Gricht recycling site. We respect the cycle of nature and extract valuable raw materials from waste, which are fed back into the materials cycle.
Crushed and sieved to achieve the desired size
It may look easy, but this is in fact challenging work. The first person feeds the material into the crusher using the excavator. After passing through there, it makes its way to the screening plant and later exits it in 3 to 4 separate fractions. The second person in the wheel loader takes these fractions and mixes them into unbound mixtures, which are then stored.
Crusher and sieve for small and large materials
After exiting the crusher, the materials pass through the screening plant, which produces 3 components for further processing. The mobile plant provides a high level of flexibility and can be easily moved. It can also produce materials in various sizes. If needed, the gap size of the jaw crusher can be enlarged or made smaller, which produces other components. The whole treatment process can cause a lot of wear to individual parts of the plant. That is why the jaw plates and sieve need to be regularly replaced.
Direct transportation to construction sites
If needed, we can load the unbound mixtures and recycled construction materials onto lorries and transport them to construction sites throughout Upper Valais. The recycling site is located just a short drive away from the valley floor, guaranteeing short transport routes.
