A beautiful setting for old age: Seniorenzentrum Stelle

They stand in the middle of Naters, the two pentagonal buildings in the shape of a star that interlock. Here, where our top-slewing crane with its 50-meter jib still stands, elderly people will spend their retirement in the future. In the complex on the south side, the Volken Group is working on the slab on the ground floor; the team is forming, reinforcing and preparing to pour concrete. In the northern part, the slab on the 1st floor is being formed, as are the walls, which are also being reinforced. It is not only the tight deadlines that are challenging. The circular formwork for windows and slabs, custom-made by ASV Schreinerei Schnidrig Visp, also requires a lot of know-how. The walls, which are up to 3.6 m high, are also demanding; all the corners - except in the stairwell - are at an oblique angle. The senior center is being realized together with Elektro Ruppen AG, the subcontractor Spahiu Jimmy for iron laying and Zehnder Josef AG for the sanitary work.
