A foundation shows strength: Portal West Riedberg Tunnel A9.

In order to complete the A9, the west portal of the Riedberg Tunnel must also be constructed. For this structure, the Volken Group supplies around 205 m3 of concrete and places it - via a truck-mounted concrete pump and its 36 m long placing booms. The single-sided formwork is a challenge: It has to absorb the entire concrete pressure, which is distributed on two sides in other structures with a double-sided formwork.
