A road gets around the bend: Scheitwäga renovation

Before the new Scheitwäge bend near Visperterminen can be renovated, the Volken Group is removing around 1260 m3 of fill material. In addition, 245 meters of pipelines and three inlet and inspection shafts are planned. The 296 tons of road surface will only be laid once these components have been completed. Work began at the beginning of June. According to the client, the Canton of Valais (Department of Mobility), the bend should be renovated in November 2022.
