The well-coordinated team never runs out of work. Yard manager Ivan adds: "We receive orders every day. Together with my deputy Marc, I take care of the release notifications for various construction machines, attachments, containers, formwork and building materials." Logistics is a key factor at the Volken Group's depot, so everything has to run smoothly at all times: Whether it's setting up, preparing or loading materials and smaller construction machines, or internal maintenance work such as repairing and servicing small appliances, which is carried out by our electrician. This is another reason why working aids such as computers, cranes and forklifts have become indispensable. Construction projects need regular supplies to ensure that deadlines can be met. And this in turn requires not only good organization but also effective coordination.
