The well-coordinated team never runs out of work. Works yard manager Ivan adds: "We receive orders every day. Together with my deputy Marc, I take care of the clearance of various construction machines, attachments, containers as well as formwork and construction materials." Logistics is a central factor at the Volken Group's works yard, so everything has to run smoothly at all times: Whether setting up, preparing or loading material and smaller construction machines, whether internal maintenance work such as repair and service of small equipment which is done by our electrician. This is another reason why working aids such as computers, cranes or forklifts are indispensable. Construction projects need regular supplies so that deadlines can be met. And that in turn requires not only good organization but also functioning coordination.
