All-rounder with 14 gears: the new Scania R500 XT 8x4.

It can be used as a mixer or a tipper, it has 500 hp and consumes even less fuel, the brand-new Scania R500 XT 8x4. Recently, our chauffeur Manfred Zmilacher from Garage B. Studer AG in Raron was allowed to take delivery of it. The truck does not only have a manual transmission of the latest generation, which is ideally suited for the Upper Valais with 14 gears. It is also equipped with a quick-change system and can be used as a tipper as well as a mixing truck. Its two-way tipper, a "Rockbox" from Moser, can be tipped to the rear and side. And the mixer from Schwing/Stetter brings a nominal volume of 9 m3. Thanks to its flexibility, the new Scania can be used for a wide variety of tasks.
