All-rounder with 14 gears: the new Scania R500 XT 8x4.

The brand-new Scania R500 XT 8x4 can be used as a mixer or tipper, has 500 hp and consumes even less fuel. Our driver Manfred Zmilacher from Garage B. Studer AG in Raron was recently able to take delivery of it. The truck not only has the latest generation of manual transmission, which is ideal for the Upper Valais with its 14 gears. It is also equipped with a quick-change system and can be used as a tipper or mixer truck. Its two-way tipper, a "Rockbox" from Moser, can be tilted backwards and sideways. And the mixer from Schwing/Stetter has a nominal volume of 9 m3. Thanks to its flexibility, the new Scania can be used for a wide variety of tasks.
