Since last May, the Volken Group has been creating modern living space in Brig-Glis. The name of the project is derived from the two MFH "City" and "Green". There is still a lot to do before the development will be ready for occupancy in 2024. In December, Volken experts worked with a team from Pegrila AG on the floor slabs for the "Grün" house. In order to obtain a perfect surface, the concrete will be stripped with a double vibratory beam and then smoothed with a "helicopter". At the same time, the master builder is working on the "City" house. Here, too, special knowledge is required: Both buildings are not designed at an angle, in addition there are different room heights and different slopes. For this job, which involves laying 260 t of reinforcing steel and using 1,800 m3 of concrete, one of the equipment used is a tower crane with a jib length of 52.50 meters.
