An apartment building with nooks and crannies: "Stadtgrün"

The Volken Group has been creating modern living space in Brig-Glis since last May. The name of the project is derived from the two apartment buildings "Stadt" and "Grün". There is still a lot to do before the development will be ready for occupancy in 2024. In December, Volken's experts worked with a team from Pegrila AG on the floor slabs for the "Grün" building. In order to achieve a perfect surface, the concrete is leveled with a double vibrating beam and then smoothed with a "helicopter". At the same time, the master builder is working on the "City" house. Specialist knowledge is also required here: the two buildings are not designed at an angle, with different room heights and different slopes. Among other things, a tower crane with a jib length of 52.50 meters is being used for this job, which involves laying 260 tons of reinforcing steel and installing 1800 m3 of concrete.
