The Volken Group's building materials laboratory in Gamsen, as well as the mobile laboratory on four wheels, rely on standardized procedures. This ensures that only tested building materials that meet the highest quality standards are used. To test the compressive strength of concrete, fresh concrete is poured into cubes, demolded after hardening and placed in water. The samples are then analyzed in a state-of-the-art cube press and the results are automatically output as a report.
