Clear the way for the A9: environmentally friendly surfacing work

Between Raron and Visp, the surfacing work was successfully completed. During this phase, the road construction experts professionally paved the fine grading as well as the base, binder and surface courses.
Environmental awareness and responsible use of resources are always the focus of such extensive projects. Fuel-saving rollers with hybrid drive were therefore used to minimize the ecological footprint. In addition, reclaimed asphalt was reused within the framework of applicable standards to promote sustainability.
The resurfaced section between Raron and Visp not only provides a smooth road surface, but also an example of successful cooperation, environmental awareness and technical precision on our highway network.
