How does the construction industry work? A team of women gained insights.

Last week, the Volken Group's female office crew were able to get a taste of construction site life for once. Our site manager took us through the various phases of a project and explained in detail what preparations are necessary and how a construction project works as a whole. It was particularly impressive to see the logistics behind the transportation of materials and machinery alone. Afterwards, our construction supervisor surprised us with a quiz: she tested whether we had understood everything - with tricky questions and lots of fun. As great as the day was, we realized that paperwork is probably more our thing. But who knows, maybe some of us women will roll up our sleeves one day ? The wonderful excursion, characterized by team spirit and new impressions, was rounded off with a cosy finale.
