Interview with construction manager Stefan Volken: Crisis management during the recent storms

How were resources made available so quickly? What were the first measures taken? What were the biggest challenges? Stefan Volken, co-owner of the Volken Group, answers these and other questions about the storm from the perspective of a construction company.
At the end of June, a severe storm hit Valais and caused considerable damage. Thanks to an impressive team effort, it was possible to respond quickly to the storms. All available resources were mobilized, employees were reassigned and even brought back from retirement. This enabled the Volken Group to be on site at short notice and carry out urgent work.

The greatest thanks go to the employees, who continue to show tireless commitment and excellent cooperation while the clean-up work is still ongoing in some cases.
