Lead-free as a target: renovation of the Lisnera shooting range.

Certain sports leave behind dangerous traces - sometimes for decades. The soil at the Lisnera shooting range is also heavily contaminated with lead in places and needs to be remediated. The Volken Group's specialists are responsible for the professional removal and legally compliant disposal of the contaminated soil in three places: An excavation of around 120 m3 will be disposed of in the company's own inert material landfill type B Chalchofen, 150 tons of soil will go to an external reactor landfill type E, and a soil washing plant will clean around 70 tons of soil. The delicate work is carried out with a walking excavator, an 8-ton excavator and a mule.
