Living the way you like it: single-family home in the Fieschertal valley

The Volken Group has also been at home building its own homes for decades. As one of the latest projects, a single-family home is currently being built in Fieschertal. The first floor has already been completed. A total of 350 cubic meters of concrete are being used. Part of this is exposed concrete for the walls in the stairwell. This requires increased care in the formation of the formwork and in the processing of the concrete. This alone requires 10 tons of reinforcement material. The shell of the building is finished with 256 square meters of brick masonry and 192 square meters of facing formwork. The client is the head of our building materials laboratory, Tobias Zeiter. He is already looking forward to moving into his own four walls.
