Small roof, big danger: Asbestos abatement

Even in small buildings, pollutants can lurk that endanger health. For example, asbestos-containing roof shingles were discovered on an old cottage near the Hotel du Glacier in Gletsch. Recently, the Volken Group's EKAS specialists for pollutant remediation dismantled each individual shingle without fracture before the entire 35 m2 was professionally disposed of in the company's own inert materials landfill. Since the building is no longer needed anyway, the demolition specialists of the Volken Group then got to work and dismantled the building brick by brick.
