All lorries are connected to a modern logistics system, which saves time and is environmentally friendly.
Crane lorries are multifunctional. They transport freight and can load and unload themselves without the help of a forklift and regardless of where they are. Lorries with loading cranes play an important role in our logistics and are in action for Volken Group day in, day out. They transport and pick up construction materials and smaller construction machines as well as scaffolds, diesel fuel tanks and much more. The loading cranes are fitted to the middle or rear end of the lorry and have a reach of up to 24 metres, allowing them to provide strong and practical services at even the most inaccessible locations.

Construction site logistics are one thing, assembly is another. Crane lorries are also useful for timber, metal and steel construction. The general rule is that the further the load is from the crane, the less it will be able to carry. If the crane only has to cover a small distance, it can lift over 5 tonnes; however, if it has to move its maximum distance, it can lift approximately 1 tonne.
It goes without saying that our lorry-mounted crane operators are well-trained and highly experienced. However, their instinctive feel is just as important. That is what allows them to position objects weighing tonnes with pinpoint precision, even with limited space. And what's more, they do so in a calm and controlled manner.
Our lorries with loading cranes are operated via radio control. For safety reasons, every model has overload protection. If the crane is approaching its maximum load, a warning signal will sound. If the load is increased further, the overload device will prevent the crane from moving out again and prevent the vehicle from overturning.
