Project description:
A new logistics building for Lonza AG is being constructed here on a floor area of 3300 m². The floor slab is very elaborate, with recesses and several concrete beams, and the building has a total of five storeys. All ceilings and load-bearing walls are made of in-situ concrete. Various precast concrete elements such as ceiling slabs, concrete beams and stair elements are being installed. The infill masonry is subsequently constructed in sand-lime brickwork and the 20-metre-high partition walls in the high-bay warehouse are constructed using climbing formwork.
Requirements:
- Very short construction time
- Complex project with very complex logistics and access control
- High demands on occupational safety, daily on-site checks
- Very complex formwork work (ceiling heights of up to 8 meters and wall heights of up to 20 meters)
- Lots of relocation work (ceiling elements, beams, stairs and columns)
