Object description:

In October 2018 until the end of 2019, the MGBahn carried out new public facilities and track substructure on the route network between Fiesch station and the level crossing towards Fieschertal (KM 17.133 to KM 17.765, length approx. 632m). All shafts, catenary masts, substructures, etc. within the project perimeter were newly constructed according to MGB standards. Two new platforms of 170m each and a new subway were built. A gondola overpass with a span of 17m and a width of 14m was built during railway operation with a distance to the overhead line of 40m. Two retaining walls of 140m and 132m length and up to 6.50m height were built next to the track during railway operation.
