Project description:
From October 2018 to the end of 2019, the MGBahn carried out new public facilities and track substructure on the route network between Fiesch station and the level crossing towards Fieschertal (KM 17.133 to KM 17.765, length approx. 632m). All shafts, catenary masts, substructure etc. within the project perimeter were newly constructed in accordance with MGB standards. Two new platforms, each 170m long, and a new underpass were built. A gondola overpass with a span of 17m and a width of 14m was constructed during rail operations at a distance of 40m from the overhead line. Two retaining walls 140m and 132m long and up to 6.50m high were built next to the track during rail operations.
Requirements:
- Working in the railroad area
- Work under traffic (railroad operation) with tight space conditions
