Cour de Gare Sion: A new district brings new life.

The site in the middle of Sion covers no less than 16,000 m2 and is currently home to six buildings and a parking garage for over 620 cars. The Cour du Gare will accommodate 302 apartments, as well as commercial space and offices, stores, a hotel and a concert hall. All of this will be located very close to the station from 2024 and will give the entire city a new dynamic. In addition to the construction specialists from the Volken Group, experts from Zengaffinen AG and Dumas SA are at work on the ARGE construction site. Around 120 people are currently working on the construction project, which demands the highest standards of quality and adherence to deadlines - which, given the current weather conditions, i.e. the ongoing heatwave, demands everything from the personnel on the construction site. The well-coordinated team led by foreman Horst Theler is also involved. They are currently building the round walls of the parking garage for the entrance and exit ramps.
