As exciting as it is challenging: building electricity pylons

The terrain is steep, the task complex and the time frame tight: Above Bister, the Volken Group is laying foundations for several electricity pylons that will carry the new 380 kV line from Mörel to Ulrichen. The project, which also includes the surrounding work, is a daily challenge for the construction specialists. In this rough terrain, every formwork element, the concrete and the walking excavator have to be flown in by helicopter.
