Yesterday, the first-year draughtsman apprentices specializing in civil engineering at the Brig vocational college had the opportunity to experience first-hand how sustainable construction material recycling works at the Hohgricht landfill. The Head of Production and Raw Materials at the Volken Group demonstrated how excavated and excavation material is efficiently processed - from recycled building materials to gravel and humus. Particularly impressive: with just two employees, valuable material is recycled here every day and returned to the cycle - a sustainable process in harmony with nature.
