Everything stays in flow: Massa flushing channel renovation

Water is constantly flowing down the bed of the Massa and its flushing channels. After more than 50 years, the canal section near Bitsch has eroded massively. It has to be completely renovated and the water temporarily diverted. The hydraulic engineering specialists from the Volken Group are currently working with Reprojet AG to remove the deposited sediment at high pressure, roughen the bed and install various components. This is a delicate task in this danger zone, which requires a great deal of safety precautions because the water can rise at any time.
