Litterna site development in Visp

The people of Upper Valais have many memories of the Litterna Hall. It was the home arena of the EHC Visp from 1979 to 2019. In 2020, the hall was demolished by the Volken Group. At the beginning of the year, construction work on the 15,700m2 site began. Currently, the excavation work is being completed and the first work on the foundations is being carried out. Building in groundwater, the specifications of the municipality regarding traffic routing and the proximity to the SBB railroad line are among the challenges. The residential development comprises 4 buildings, with Building A having 10 floors and Buildings B, C and D each having 5 or 6 floors. They will contain 128 rental apartments and 3 commercial units. We would like to thank the client Swiss Prime Site and the general contractor Effage Suisse for the trust they have placed in us and are pleased to be part of this project, which will later shape the center of Visp.
