Renovation of the MGBahn line near Kalpetran; concrete delivery by lifting screw

During the three-week total closure of the MGBahn line in Merijen near Kalpetran, extensive renovation work was carried out on three bridge structures. In a consortium with Schmid Bautech, the repairs were carried out using ultra-high performance fiber-reinforced concrete (UHPC), including the reinforcement of the supporting structure and renewal of the roadway waterproofing. Due to the rough terrain, the concrete was delivered by helicopter, while our track excavator took over the transportation on the track. An impressive achievement in challenging terrain.
