Small roof, big danger: asbestos removal

Even small buildings can contain harmful substances that pose a health risk. For example, roof shingles containing asbestos were discovered on an old cottage at the Hotel du Glacier in Gletsch. Recently, the Volken Group's EKAS specialists for pollutant remediation dismantled every single shingle without breaking it, before the entire 35 m2 was professionally disposed of in the company's own inert material landfill. As the building was no longer needed anyway, the Volken Group's demolition specialists then got to work and dismantled the building brick by brick.
