Project description:
The new building complex was realized in two stages. The demolition was therefore also carried out in two stages. In the first stage of the continuous building, the east section was demolished and in the second, the west section.
This was a highly challenging demolition because the operation of the retirement home was maintained in the remaining continuous part of the building. The vertical separation was carried out by means of cutting work and after this vertical separation, heavy demolition equipment was skillfully used with a great deal of expertise. The demolished materials were recycled in accordance with the applicable environmental guidelines as far as permissible and the rest was disposed of in accordance with the law.
