Project description:
In order to increase road safety and maintain the value of the infrastructure in the long term, a comprehensive road renovation is being carried out in Herbriggen. The affected section extends over 630 meters between the two village entrances. As part of the work, the road foundations and verges will be replaced and the entire road surface will be resurfaced. In addition, the road drainage system will be optimized and renovated to ensure better drainage of surface water. A new retaining wall with a length of 140 meters is also being built between the road and the track of the Matterhorn-Gotthard Railway.
