We have well-established safety measures in place to protect our employees and the environment.
In the same year that the world's first daily newspaper appears in Leipzig and Rembrandt paints the man with the golden helmet, a Spycher is built in Reckingen. No wonder, the ravages of time have also gnawed at this stable from 1650. Now the historic structure has been renovated by the Volken Group - strictly according to the specifications of the Heritage Protection Department. First, the 20-ton structure was shimmed with four steel girders, raised about 20 cm on the east side and realigned. Then our specialists underpinned the lower part of the barn, which stood on an unstable natural stone wall, stage by stage. This required 30 cubic meters of concrete. Now the Spycher stands again on a solid foundation and bears witness to the Valais building tradition.
We would like to thank the Widmer family for the order!
