A challenge for the builders too: Pumptrack Miége

The first boards, bikes and inline skates will soon be whizzing over the waves, banked turns and jumps in Miége. To ensure that everything runs smoothly in future, the Volken Group's surfacing contractors were also called upon. Following the preparatory work carried out by Solioz&Merkli Traveaux Public Sa, they laid the warm asphalt surface by hand using a vibroplate and a motorized karette. Always under time pressure, as the material cools down quickly. And with a great deal of dexterity in order to perfectly shape the round and smooth edges of the durable surface. A special mixture was used that was designed for such systems at the Leukerfeld surfacing plant.
