Almost 40 years on the road and still far from tired!

We are bidding farewell to a true veteran in his well-deserved retirement. Ivano Balestrieri has been an integral part of the Volken Group since 1987 and has actively shaped our history for decades.

His career path took him from handler to absolute all-rounder. For over 20 years, he drove heavy excavator transports, worked as a crane operator and helped with tricky welding work at the Gamsen depot. Because he delivered materials to all our construction sites on a daily basis, he really knows every face in #TeamVolken. The retired doer is guaranteed never to get bored, as his friends are already queuing up to get stuck in.
