Bike Path

A bike path is being built between Bitsch and Mörel-Filet and is scheduled for completion by 2024. Until now, cyclists have had to use the heavily trafficked cantonal road, which not only disrupts traffic but also poses a significant danger to cyclists. However, that is set to change by 2024. This year, the Volken Group completed the first of three sections. Last week, Voweg laid the final layer of pavement, the wearing course.
The canton is thus closing one of the last gaps in the so-called Rhone Route, which runs from Andermatt to Geneva.
