Busy during the vacations: our mechanics in the field.

Even though the Volken Group was on vacation for two weeks at the beginning of August: During this time, the team at our workshop in Gampel worked at full speed. Most of the time, the men work on construction sites in the summer before completing their tasks in the workshop in the winter. During the vacation season, important service and repair work is scheduled at various locations. They are meticulously planned and carried out on schedule to ensure that no machine breaks down - not even the mobile crushing plant with a maximum weight of 80 tons.  This summer, its blow bars had to be replaced. If the crusher is used frequently, this is necessary once a month. No easy task, because each blow bar weighs around 330 kilograms and was lifted with an excavator.
