Centimeter work for giants of tons!

In Bitsch, we create space where there is actually none. We are widening the road directly on the steep slope so that buses and trucks can easily negotiate the bends in future.

What sounds simple is real engineering skill. Our #TeamVolken is literally anchoring the new roadway in the mountain with a massive leaning viaduct. In addition, there are deep anchors to secure the slope and quarry stone masonry that blends in perfectly with our Valais landscape.
