First-class track, implemented on time: MGBahn total conversion

As of today, the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway is running according to schedule again. During the total closure, the Volken Group helped to complete the final work for a better, technically modern track. Under great time pressure and smoothly coordinated, the well-coordinated and experienced team laid thousands of m3 of unbound mixtures, ballast and the surface over an area of 5500 m2. In the interests of sustainability, the excavated material, old gravel and demolished concrete were recycled and reused.
