Storm in June 2024 - measures are still being taken.

After the severe storm, protective measures were taken in Sass-Almagell to stabilize the river bed.

A total of 20 crossbars were installed at Moos Stutz in Saas-Almagell. These serve to permanently stabilize the river bed and minimize the risk of erosion.

Projects like this show how important experience, speed of reaction and teamwork are when it counts. In a short space of time, a lasting contribution has been made to the safety of the region.
