Summer is slowly gaining momentum: clearing the Nufenen Pass

Now it's time to finally clear away what the winter has left behind: The Volken Group is currently clearing the last of the snow from the Nufenen pass road. Specialists are working for two weeks with four snow blowers and a wheel loader to ensure that vehicles can once again travel between Ticino and the Rhône Valley. Not only is a great deal of experience and physical effort required, but safety must not fall by the wayside either. That's why a mountain guide is always on site. He checks that all the men have their avalanche transceivers on them and warns them if there is any danger.
