There's no better job: Jemy Naumann, a bricklayer's apprentice.

Which stone fits best where? That’s probably what the masons in ancient Egypt wondered, too. Perhaps it’s this very fascination that prompted Jemy Naumann to start his masonry apprenticeship at the Volken Group this summer: “For me, it’s one of the best professions. It’s so varied, and it’s such a joy to work as part of a team. I’d find an office job way too boring.” No wonder—he also learns a wide variety of subjects one day a week at vocational school. In addition to math, building materials science, and technical drawing, the curriculum includes subjects such as business and the industry environment, construction fundamentals, project supervision, and more. Students with excellent academic performance can also attend vocational high school during their basic training. This opens the doors wide to a career in construction.
We wish Jemy Naumann all the best on his career path!
