Until around 1990, other hazardous substances and toxins were used in construction without a second thought. Since 2018, the EKAS specialists in hazardous material remediation at the Volken Group have been helping to ensure that no one comes into contact with these dangerous substances during remodeling and renovation projects in Valais. When removing the 110 m² of fiber-cement panels, the strictest safety measures are essential before the material is properly disposed of at the company’s own inert waste landfill.
