When nature flexes its muscles, we stand up to it.

Our newly built debris barrier on the Baltschiederbach has passed its first major test. After heavy rainfall, an emergency arose on the night of July 2, 2025 - and our team was immediately on the scene.

When the debris collector filled up and the water overflowed the barrier, every minute counted. In close coordination with the municipality's command staff and the fire department, we fought until late into the night with three large excavators and a pneumatic excavator to control the masses of water and protect the infrastructure.

The operation continued in the days that followed. Helicopters, cranes, large dumpers and even specialists on hanging ropes were used to clean up and restore everything.

This operation showed what #TeamVolken is all about. When it matters, we respond within the shortest possible time. We are not only builders, but also protectors, driven by the will to stand up for the safety of our region with the right manpower and the right equipment.
