Object description:

Four earth-reinforced avalanche protection dams were constructed for the Hilpersbach rerouting and expansion project. The guide dams, which are on average 7.00 m high, were filled up in layers with supplied or extracted fill material. Parallel to the backfilling works, the existing Hilpersbach was diverted for 190m and redesigned. An intake structure was constructed adjacent to the new channel. Adjacent to an archaeological section, a new drainage structure will be constructed.
