Property description:

As part of the planned new construction of the ‘Spitalzentrum Oberwallis’ hospital, we carried out the excavation work for the new north building.

Requirements:

The excavation work and excavation pit closures (sheet pile walls) were carried out directly in or adjacent to areas of the Brig Hospital that were still in operation (hospital operations, operating theatre, radiology, etc.). The work had to be carried out using the lowest-emission methods available and with appropriate measures to minimise noise, dust, vibration and environmental pollution. In addition, the earthworks had to be coordinated with the third-party contractor responsible for dismantling the bored pile heads, which was successfully implemented.
