- Construction period: November 2023 - March 2024
- Construction costs: 750,000
Technical data:
- 6,000 tons of rubble
- 8,000 tons of 3-4 tons of stones
- 3,800 m³ of excavated material
Project description:
The aim of the project is to restore fish migration in the Vispa river. Currently, a 3-meter-high threshold is an obstacle to fish migration. This barrier will be overcome by constructing a block ramp, restoring fish migration. For this purpose, a fish ladder approximately 70 meters long will be built.
Requirements:
- High tolerance requirements of +/- 5 cm
- Construction of the fish ladder
- Construction in water protection zone S2
Special features:
The work had to be carried out during the winter months. Due to the complex shape of the fish ladder, precise execution with a tolerance of only +/-5 cm was required. Heights and locations were checked weekly by the site management. The implementation of the project has made it possible for fish to migrate above the former threshold again.
