Project description:
Between Bitsch and Mörel, a new cycle path with a 40cm case and a surface and base course is planned. Lot 1 comprises the construction of this cycle path from Bitsch railroad station to the Ober z'Matt locality. The route of the new cycle path requires the rerouting of the irrigation network and is partly within the horizontal and vertical distances required by Swissgas from its gas pipes. For this reason, one section of the route must also be equipped with pressure distribution plates.
At the exit from the village in an easterly direction, a 70m-long block throw must be constructed along the Rhone due to the limited space available. In addition, mobile and fixed round timber fences will be erected along the cycle path and diagonal fencing with privacy screens will be installed in sections to ensure privacy.
Challenges:
- High safety requirements due to the proximity to the MGBahn and Swissgas
- Infrastructure: 1.1 km Linnien construction site with two possible access routes: middle and end of construction site
- Construction in the stream bed
