Property description:

The plan is to extend and expand the Binntal hut belonging to the Delémont section of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC). The main work involves raising the existing roof by approx. 1.50 m. This will allow the bedrooms on the upper floor to be organized more efficiently (two to three stories). The facade will be extended using the existing quarry stone masonry. Instead of skylights, windows will be inserted into the facade so that each room is well lit and ventilated. On the outside, the natural stone facade will be supplemented, while on the inside, the insulation will be clad with wood paneling. The functions are clearly separated: the bedrooms are located on the upper floor, the common rooms on the ground floor, and the service rooms in the basement. The conversion must comply with current structural and fire safety requirements.p>
