After 40 years full of passion for concrete and prefabrication, we say "thank you" and all the best for the new phase of his life to Klaus Kalbermatten, who is taking his well-deserved retirement.

At the age of 25, Klaus took on responsibility in the family business - out of necessity, which became his life's work. From the beginnings, when he was still cleaning shuttering panels as a young "boy", an impressive career developed that spanned exactly four decades in June 2025.

In 2018, the cement products plant became part of the Volken Group - and Klaus continued to manage production in Gamsen with great commitment, expertise and a keen sense for people. He particularly appreciated the loyalty and respect shown to him.

His departure was an emotional one - and that shows how much this work has shaped his life. Today, he enjoys his new freedom with swimming, e-bike tours and 10,000-15,000 steps a day.
