Clear road on the A9: New asphalt between Raron and Visp

After a construction period of around four months, the Volken Group reached another milestone for the Raron-Visp highway section in June. The team mastered the logistical challenge brilliantly. Semi-trailers with an impressive capacity of up to 28 tons were used for the transport. The asphalt was laid efficiently with two to four asphalt pavers working simultaneously. State-of-the-art technology was used to continuously monitor the level to ensure maximum precision. The quality of the project was ensured by continuous inspections. External and internal laboratories constantly monitored the standards to ensure that all requirements were met.
