The Stalden bypass and thus also the "Steinschlag" section are slowly taking shape. Currently, the excavated material temporarily stored on site is being prepared for backfilling the walls with a screen bucket. While retaining walls and seepage pipes are still being constructed in front of the east portal, the first kerbstones and sewage systems have already been built inside. As soon as the "Steinschlag" section is completed this summer, it will initially serve as a construction site access road for the construction lot further east, before the entire bypass can finally be opened to traffic in 2023.
