The Stalden bypass and therefore also the "rockfall" section are slowly taking shape. The excavated material temporarily stored on site is currently being processed with a screening bucket for backfilling the walls. While retaining walls and drainage pipes are still being built in front of the east portal, the first kerbstones and drainage systems have already been installed inside. As soon as the "Steinschlag" section is completed this summer, it will initially serve as a construction site access road for the construction lot further east, before the entire bypass can finally be opened to traffic in 2023.
