Diversity from the very first brick: Bricklayer's apprentice Leon Garbely.

"A profession as a tradesman with a lot of variety has always been my dream," says Leon Garbely. He is completing his third year of training as an EFZ bricklayer at the Volken Group and is currently working on the Litterna construction site in Visp. Here and elsewhere, activities of all kinds are opening up to him. Whether reading construction plans or working on planning, setting up construction sites, digging trenches, laying pipes and cables or preparing formwork: The day-to-day work as a bricklayer is varied and also includes work with concrete, bricks and mortar, prefabricated building elements, insulation and plastering. A wide variety of tools and machines are used here as well as for demolition, renovation or repair work. All in all, an exciting environment in which Leon will be working until he completes his apprenticeship in 2023.
We are happy to support him after his apprenticeship and wish him all the best for the future!
